Project Outline
In the Indian High Speed Rail project, the Governments have finalised a new ordering framework for the electrical package. Japan High Speed Rail Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd. (JE, established in September 2021) is undertaking the project under the scheme as the agent for NHSRCL. As with the detailed design study, JIC formed a consortium with Nippon Koei and Oriental Consultants Global and won this contract. The JIC consortium has prepared and filed the design and tender documents for the specified electrical package with JE under their instructions. The tendering process is in progress for JE to support NHSRCL.
