The Indian High Speed Rail project has been agreed between the Governments to cooperate in developing the human resources of NHSRCL staff who will work for future operation and maintenance.

In the future, the Indian personnel will be trained by the Indian managers who have undergone practical training in Japan. The training facility for the future Indian personnel is planned adjacent to the National Academy of Indian Railways in Vadodara, and some of the institutional facilities, such as slab track training line and accommodation building, are already completed.

The JIC Consortium planned and designed the slab track training line and the accommodation building, prepared tender documents, provided tender support and supervised the construction after finalizing the contract. The entire training building was designed by the JIC Consortium, but the subsequent construction was supervised by NHSRCL.
